Default [Help] - Does this layout look ok?

Hey, im making a website for a blinds company i made a layout and was wondering if you guys think its ok.

Its not my first design and to be honest i cannot design (looking for designers).

There is the design with no text/images(content) like a small template then.

    Thanks,

    Alan.

If you take a look at some websites selling blinds, you'll most likely come across light, appealing colours rather than a dark background, so that would probably be a good starting point.

It's a bit confusing that you would accept a job to design something, when you state yourself 'to be honest I cannot design'? Keep trying and good luck, but hone your skills before offering them to others.

Extremely simple and not looking very business like, you'll want bright, simple colours such as light greys, whites, blues and so on. Mixing them with some good style content area's will help.

Take a peak at other company websites selling the same products as yours, research is the key.

I recommend you spruce up the colours a little, make them more... Vibrant.
The dark look is very dull and can be off putting when visiting.
