    Default PC PROBLEM!

    Ok so I installed windows 7 and worked fine then a couple of days after when I went to go on my pc it said it cannot boot insert boot device or media so I put in my vista disk and it wont let me install because the hd is not readable :S so I have managed to get into the repair options and I went to for a system restore but it wont find the main hd C: but it find another partition of 30 GB :S I can open command prompt though so can anyone help me

    HDD failed?

    I'd just say balls to it and format that partition if you can. If it doesn't recogise it as a partiton, install windows on the remaining 30GB and play with it with a program from inside windows
