    Default plimsolls..

so for sixth form we get to wear our own "must-be-smart-though" clothes.. and because i really dont want to wear normal school shoes im considering buying these to go with dark trousers/black jeans..

thoughts? we strictly are not allowed to wear them but people do anyway... they are £16.

They are ok, why not get a normal black pair from primark or something first to test the water at your school. If they are cool, then spend that. Or if you will wear them outta school get them but I am sure somewere like primark will do them cheaper.

the ones from primark are the weird type, they have the small laces that stop halfway down the shoe. basically, with school trousers they'd look like grandad slippers haha.

and yeah i'd probably wear them out of school as well, was just wondering what people think of them cause they're quite popular nowadays.

I used to wear black plimsolls from Primark and so did many of the lads. There only like £2 and there good for money. They look fine with school trousers. But the ones you like are okay. I'd go for the ones from Primark.

    they're horrible.
try finding ones that don't have such a huge rubber sole, and horrible thick laces.
or just find different kind of shoe. only the white plimsolls look alright.

I'd go for http://www.topman.com/webapp/wcs/sto...8299&langId=-1 over the ones you linked to because the rubber on the front isn't as big

if you could get away with it, http://www.topman.com/webapp/wcs/sto...0458&langId=-1 looks alright aswell

I remeber when you used to wear plimsoles for P.E. in Year 2 - good times!
Anyway, those are a very nice pair, the price seems a bit farfetched though for me.
I mean, there such simple pieces of footwear, yet they manage to become a must-have fashion item and be really expensive....

i bought them, they look absolutely fine with school trousers haha. very inconspicuous.

to those saying they're ugly, im not going to be wearing them with denim jeans, it was only to be worn with black trousers/black jeans
