    Default Replace laptop screen

Does anyone know anywhere that will replace broken laptop screens?

I tried PC world and they told me it would cost £230, which imo seemed very very expensive.

Might have a ask round some local places and see what they can do too

Anyone else had to have this done before and can give me a rough price of what they paid?

Buy a screen on eBay and do it yourself.

I would not reccomend doing it yourself

But i would reccomend looking at local places that fix laptops. I had mine replaced just a couple of weeks ago, and it cost me £65 at my local laptop and repair shop.

£65 sounds more appealing to me

Ill have a look around them next week and see what hey can do it for, anything over £120 isn't worth it really.

    Thanks

If you can get some kind of maintenance manual or guide of the internet tbh, I would risk doing it my self.

Ask whoevers laptop it is if they would mind you trying to repair it yourself, say it will be alot cheaper, and they will no doubt say yes.

When I had to do it, I used a guide similar to this; http://computershopper.com/laptops/h...-laptop-screen

any chance of make and model? That would be able to help us get an estimated cost of the specific screen.
    AMD Phenom X4 955 BE - 8GB RAM - Asus M5A97 - MSI HD6870 HAWK - Windows 8.1 Pro 64 - Samsung 840 Pro 256GB
