    Hey guys wanted to make a vbulletin layout any tuturials?

    I find the best thing is trial and error with things. You pick up what each of the things does. It is hard to do special things at first but you get used to it.

    I really don't get the Vb thing . Im more of a php and html kind of person not css and xml of something .

    vB uses PHP and HTML :rolleyes:

    Anyway, if you want to customize your own layout:

    Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> {Your style} -> Drop-down (on right) select Main CSS.

    Now, you have all of the CSS for your layout. Look at that, customize it etc.

    Also, feel free to port your layout and edit it. Remember to make sure all images stay the same (button1.gif bg.gif etc) if you edit any graphics - otherwise you're forced to edit your template to update all buttons.

    Just mess around with the Default template and change images / colours etc.. How i learned

    I totally agree with this, trial and error is the way to do this easy.
