Help! How do I fix my pickaxe?

I have an adamant pickaxe and it kinda...blew up...
Where do I go to fix it? people keep telling me the dwarven mine, but WHERE? i've been to the mining shop, says nothing about fixing pickaxes, and they dont even sell pickaxes there...apart from bronze :@

I fixed the P.axe b4 myself.I 4gotten. I just know got someone who sell P.axes at dwarven mines. He can repair them.

Ah! I didn't realise there was a genreal store in that mine! I was at the mining shop by the entrance, arg, thanks very much!
