    Nah, well my keyboard is totally screwed. i spilt beer on it and when i press certain buttons some come up with different letters or loads of letters. so iv been told its the controller?

    Yeh but does that come with a controller, because that wont change anything i dont think because it will still come up with random ass letters

    I thought the controller was built in the keyboard? Just try buying a new one first - it shouldn't be too expensive.

    Or ping them all off and clean it LIGHTLY with a little soap in water like I have done many times

    Happened to the laptop I'm on now. I got a USB keyboard and it took me ages to get it working, then I unplugged it and plugged it back in, and it took days to get it working. It's a lot of hassle.
