Default iPod touch Album Art issues.

Recently, after purchasing my new laptop, I resynced my music onto my iPod touch 2nd Gen (on 2.2.1 firmware), and now, on certain songs, it comes up with different album art (all of them were albums bought from iTunes). Although it is amusing to see George Formby's album art while listening to Katy Perry, it is annoying me. It's doing it on a Katy Perry album, a Ting Tings one and a Lily Allen one, all of which were purchased from iTunes and transferred to the new PC via the iPod. I'm tempted to try removing them from iTunes and copying them over from the other PC. I am running iTunes 9 under Vista. Ideas?

I see what your saying. But why should I have to pay £2.99 for something that worked before?

Have you tried reformatting your iPod through iTunes?

Nope. I just put 1000 tracks on it over a day. I'd rather not reformat it if I can help it. I'm gonna take the affected music off, sync and put it back on first, and if everything else fails, THEN I might reformat.

If you copy album art twice onto a track it stores multiple copies of it. Right click a track you're having a problem with, select 'Get Info', go to Artwork and see if there's multiple album arts there, if so, delete them.

If that fails I'll post on how to reset all your album arts so you can start again.
