Backing track or no backing track?

What should I say?

I don't want it to be too cheesy or too sad. And I need Jess and Melsia to like it, so.. :}

There's no need for a backing track or anything, just your voice.
Just pretend you're DJing, you might feel a bit silly but no one cares You could read out a few fake requests, announce a comp, start a topic of discussion, introduce the next song etc.

I'd suggest you also be enthusiastic, cause noone likes boring DJ's eh
And it doesn't matter if your cheesy, just act as you would DJing..but in a voiceclip?

Yeh erm.

That there is a mistake often made ^. The phrase or even taret of 'erm' is a major put off in sound clips, make sure you avoid saying that, so the best thing to do is know (maybe via a plan) of what you are going to say. This will also boost confidence and will increase the quality of your sound clip by a major mile. Though a concern maybe that you start acting as a robot, so just act naturally at the same time. Just give it some welly and you'll be good
