Memory Stick HELP?

Everytime I plug it in it appears as a folder, this would be alright but in school I cant open as it says you dont have sufficient rights or something. I was wondering how I can get it back to the normal removable disk.

Have you set permissions or anything, if you have u need to change them by right clicking ur memorystick and clicking properties.

It was fine up until politics and then I plugged it into my teachers laptop, maybe something to do with that. After I took it out it appeared as a folder on every computer.

try right clicking and clicking open as portable device... if that don't work it mite be corrupt ?!

It isnt corrupt, I go into the folder at home and look at the files and edit them etc.

Right click, Open as administrator?

Is your stick broken. I had that. Stick broke after like a week. It didn't show up. It had an error message similar to yours though, if it managed to show up. Does your memory stick sound loose at all inside the casing or feels loose.

It shows up, I can explore it at home it's just the PC at school doesnt allowed me to view folders. I'll format it and see how it goes
