    Default {Help} Vista Problems.

    Hey there, I recentley installed windows vista over linux. But I have 2 Problems now.

    A. My FN button and F7 dont work togher and I cant get my laptop on my multimedia projector. Ive tried it on both of them and it wont work.

    B. When I log onto windows alot ofmyfiles have been currupt some how?


    Does anyone know how to fix these problems? and in return I infact buying 200 HC's from a m8 for cheap, im willing to give 100 of these to you.

    A: What make and model is your computer? Specifically, what graphics card or chip is in your machine.

    B: I don't get what you mean by corrupt. Can we have a screenshot please?

    A. Lenovo n200 and I dont know my grapghics card it is a standard one that they put it all lenovo laptops

    B: Sorry I dont have 1, Basicly its a little box that comes up and says Login ius currupt and when I went on IE it said Internet explorer is corrupt.


    Any help??

    If you have the disk for vista can you insert it and use the repair tool? I know you can with windows XP.

    If that fails does the computer have a recovery partion? If so, use that to recover and repair windows (you will loose your files though)

    seeing as he had Linux, I assume he won't have a recovery partition.

    Control-Alt-Delete Then It Should Be Visable To See Corruptsions when you log on press that and it tells you the corrupted items and Thiers a Button Below That Puts Help On Your comp i think

    Burn Windows 7 to a disc, format your hdd and install.
