    Default Scream 4

Tbh, i love the Scream films but i don't think a fourth one should be made.. i'll probably watch it tho

    Rex Features
Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox Arquette and David Arquette are reportedly considering reprising their roles in the forthcoming Scream 4.

According to Bloody Disgusting, the original Scream stars have been approached with financial offers to make a cameo appearance in the horror sequel.

Campbell starred as protagonist Sidney Prescott in the original trilogy, while Cox Arquette played ambitious reporter Gale Weathers and Arquette starred as police officer Dewey Riley.

The fourth film in Wes Craven's Scream franchise was announced by the Weinstein Company last July. However, it will likely focus on a set of new, younger characters, with the original cast members only making a brief appearance.

Scream and Scream 2 writer Kevin Williamson has reportedly begun writing a draft screenplay, while Craven is still in negotiations to return as director.

Last year, Jamie Kennedy, who played movie buff Randy Meeks, hinted to iFMagazine that he could reprise his role for the fourth installment.

There will also be Scream 5 and 6. The first is good, second is okay, third sucks. Williamson has until Thanksgiving to write the script, and only if it's good enough will Wes return to direct.

Neve, Courtney Cox-Arquette and David Arquette are all confirmed now.

I've never watched any of them properly, if there's going to be 6(?!) That's a nice sign to tell me I'm not missing much .

Why do they have to make a million sequels to horror movies? the third one was complete crap, there's only so many times someone can run around in a mask before it gets boring.

I am rewatching Scream 2 and Scream 3 today. I saw Scream again recently, and saw half of 2 yesterday and just finished it. I haven't seen it in years. It's pretty solid until the end, and gets *** out of 5 for me, the same as the original. About to start 3.
