Erm, it's there choice. They created the cartoon and they also created the movie lol.

So no-one's has there own views whether or not, it's just to end on a scene like that is asking for some more trouble.

I liked it, but i never watched the cartoon so i cant be disapointed on that aspect. I hoped theres a second one.
