    Default Functional Jewellery +Rep

Right I picked 3D Design at college, as I want to be an Architect, but the first topic is completely irrelevant but I've still got to do it and I'm struggling with ideas.

The topic is 'Functional Jewellery' which bascially it can't just be a piece of nice looking jewellery, it has to do something.

I've come up with one idea which is for people who wear shirts to work, it's a pair of cufflinks but one is a USB. So to someone else it just looks like a normal pair of cufflinks but you take a bit of it off and its a USB to store your work on.

I need something like that. It can be anything like a watch, or a ring etc. It just has to do something and I'm having a problem with putting a function with a jewellery. Like thinking people wouldn't wear it or it wouldn't be possible to make.

Anybody have any good ideas? It can be something that's already been made just I could improve it. Or a totally new idea?

    +Rep for really good ideas.

Try to avoid things which funtion while you wear them, they are totally impractical and no one would ever use them, not in our lifetime at least.
Think more about something static which can fulfil it's function while you're not wearing it. Pretty vague but seriously things that are meant to function while you wear them end up tacky if you put funtion before form and they don't work properly if you put form before function.

That's a good point that actually thank you +Rep.
