    Default HELP ME +REP URGENT

    A friend of mine has an acer 5738z and he has a problem where he has managed to set it to widescreen or something. Like at the bottom he has to scroll to see the whole screen. HOW DO I FIX THIS

    Just in internet explorer, or in his OS?

    If so what's the OS.

    It sounds like they've enabled some sort of virtual overscan. Get them to look in the graphics card drivers/settings for something called overscan or similar. If it's a nVidia card you can generally right click the Desktop and go on NVIDIA control panel. Have a mooch in there. I can't remember what it's called exactly.
