Default Mobile Phone "Dongle" ? :s

I've been wondering how I could upload my mp3's off my pc, onto my mobile for a few days now, and I couldn't think how, so I visited my nearest Orange Shop and asked them what I can buy for uploading things off the pc onto your mobile. She replied by saying "You could buy a Dongle, and not a USB cable just for the sony ericsson K700i. A Dongle is used for this purpose, and you can also upload images and other things".
I have been looking on the net what a Dongle looks like, and it looks like it can't even fit into my mobile. Here is an image of one - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ayphotohosting

How can that fit into your phone, and in the usb port on the tower at the same time? :s
    Anyone care to explain?
