Default Shot man not connected to attacks

You mite of heard it on the news but im gonna tell you anyways.

A man shot and killed by police in London on Friday was not linked to attempted attacks on the capital on Thursday, police have confirmed.
A Scotland Yard statement said the shooting was a "tragedy" which was regretted by the Metropolitan Police.

The man was shot dead by police at Stockwell Underground station after they had followed him from a flat.

Two other men have been arrested and are being questioned after bombers targeted three Tube trains and a bus.
The statement from the police said they believed they knew who the man was but still had to formally identify him

The statement added: "We are now satisfied that he was not connected with the incidents of Thursday 21st July 2005.

"For somebody to lose their life in such circumstances is a tragedy and one that the Metropolitan Police Service regrets."

    there ive said it now.

He was persued from a flat police had under surveillance, he ran from armed police onto a train. As far as im concerned in the current heightened state of alert police were right to kill him as fast as possible. Think, this man could of had a detonator in his hand.

Eventhough this was not the case I still stand by their decision as it could of easily been so and killed many more people. Also because of this mans obvious stupidity to run in that kind of situation.

You can't say it was wrong to kill him, cause in America if you run from the police you get shot so why should it be more relaxed here.

They were right to shoot him ONCE i agree but didn't he got shot 5 times? If he did only get shot once the chances are he would of survived

I'm guessing the police shot him 5 times to make sure he was dead. If he was a suspected terrorist, he could have had a detonator on him, so they wanted to definitely make sure he was dead.
