What do you think of the current Forum Manager

Yeah, just wondering what people think of the Forum Manager? Do you think he is doing a good job? Do you think he's doing a **** job?

If you had a complaint would you PM it to him knowing he would do something, or would you PM it to someone else because you know nothing will get done?

Do you hate if complaints are forwarded to him? Or do you love it because you know he will do something?


Do you think he implments enough forum updates and change or do you think he cba with it?

If you're classing MG as the FM then I think there are people within the Habbox hierarchy that could do a much better job and that I'd like to see have a chance to do that job.

The staff are all ******************* (am I allowed to put stars instead of a word?). If u disagree with one or even HINT that one is bad/made a bad decision then they all come chasing after you. It's stupid like that. A prime example is *********** and ****** (blanked names out so they don't feel bad )

I think it's quite stupid the whole "Team Garner" thing, they are supposed to be working with the community, using that gives a feel like it's them against everyone else, sometimes it is but hey

Yeah Scotty, they talk about elitism then have an exclusive saying to get promotions, lol. Anyway, I find the forum manager rude, stubborn, not easy to communicate with and using the example you gave Graham if something got forwarded to him he always sides with his staff. He has to realise they're wrong some times. He did this with me the other week and then had to PM me telling me I was right and I wouldn't have to endure such moderation again. Only this week he told me a warning was fair (I had to go to him seeing as it was from invincible who is a super moderator). Jin had to reverse it in the end.

I don't want to give criticism without it being at least remotely constructive. If he actually listened to the users a bit more who make this forum rather than siding with his forum staff each and every time he'd be a much better forum manager. He's frightened to cause too much controversy though - if he just realised "it's only the internet" (this is what he said to me in HxHD :rolleyes: rude I know) and was more laid back I think I'd find him a much better FM.

That's just my opinion and at the end of the day the forum is a nice enough place to be providing you're thick skinned P) and don't let things get to you. Maybe he needs an Assistant Forum Manager, I'm not sure. However, that's quite worrying even thinking about who would get it next. 50% of the super moderators have like 90% of their sanctions on my account reversed - invincible and iAdam. Bomb-Head isn't even active and Robbie! is just alright. In my truthful opinion, they should look else where.

However, I don't work with him. He could be a great Forum Manager. These are just from my dealings with him. In the last week he has called me a "noob" :rolleyes: and told me to get over it because it's just the internet. Don't get me wrong this isn't a public attack, you asked me what I thought of him and like all my posts in this forum I'm going to say exactly what I think. I know I'm going to be bombarded with the team garner people but as long as they reply without being rude if possible then it's all cool.

I don't particularly think any of those options are applicable for my opinion. I think Matt certainly has the ability and the skills necessary to be a good Forum Manager, and I do think he has done a good job in his time as Forum Manager. Nevertheless I think, and I am pretty sure Matt is aware that I think this, that he is under pressure at the moment with the problems Habbox are facing and time. There are a lot of things that Forum Managers need to do and you can't blame him for having difficulty in doing them all.

I have requested to return as AFM, I'd like to help Matt out and I personally think that when we used to work together we made a very good team. I just have to wait and see what general management say; they may not want me back. If I am allowed to come back, I think Matt and I will work together and do a very good job. .
