For those who dont know what accutane it is basically for severe acne. What it does is it totally dries out your skin, causing your skin to peel etc etc.
I started taking it about 8 days ago and by the 5th day noticed my skin starting to peel. It is so sore right now as all my spots have came out of my skin and i look abit like a snake! My lips are really chap, and i am constently putting lip balm on. I also have a really itchy scalp that is flaking all the time. I am using a oil free moisturiser and an expholiater for in the morning, however the expholiator doesnt remove all the peels of skin. its annoying and looking rather ugly! but im just trying to think of what my skin will be like when i come off it. Anyone else been on this stuff? any tips/advice? thanks

I've never been on it but I know it gets worse before it gets better. Just tough it out, pain is beauty!!!
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.

flannel + cream. Put a dab of the cream on the fannel and move it around ur face in a circular motion, the extra skin should be gone and you're liek exfoliated.

Don't whipe or wash your face too much as itll cause irritation even more. Try to GENTLY remove the dead flakey skin morning and night, and keep using the cream.

    No pain, no gain.

I was offered this treatment, but i thought i might as well stick with the tablets/gel since i'm not a severe sufferer and the tablets do reduce it. I'm just going to stick it out since i've noticed, nobody notices the spots i do.

depending on your spot cycle, the first week is horrible. some people if there cycle just ended find that the 2nd week is horrible. It was so painful, flakey and its hard not to pick at it! but try not to! however i can see results already. my forehead is practically clear as day. how long you staying on them for?
