Anyone know any good car games?

Do you know of any good car games? I like racing games such as need for speed, grand turismo etc but I also like games that involve a lot of driving but aren't necessarily racing games. I was so disappointed when I found out test drive unlimited is only on 360 because I have a PS3... I'm not bothered if they aren't brand new either, just as long as the gameplay isn't antiquated.

Best racing game I've played so far would have to be between Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2. I haven't played any new Gran Turismos yet though (if there is any since 4?). I find the NFS series a bit iffy generally. HP2 was the first one I ever got and loved it. It's completely different to NFS: Underground or anything since. I don't rate newer NFS titles very highly although NFS: Most Wanted was good and the demo of the new one seems pretty cool too.

GTA is the other obvious one if you just want driving. Then there's the Driver series, all of which are great games really. Don't know if you'd be interested in The Getaway (there's two so far), the driving itself isn't great but I loved them. I also thought Stuntman was a great game but the demo for the second one didn't seem very good.

Going back to the PS1 days, I used to love Toca and V-Rally (2) .

Driver 3 in all honesty was my fave racing game of all time, but the burnout series is amazing, and fuel is just immence.

I think Driver 2 was the best, where u could get into the baseball ground by buying a ticket and getting a secret car !

Driver: Parallel Lines? That was an epic game though! I loved the different cars from the two eras and the soundtrack was awesome.

I play grand theft auto, purely for the driving aspect. I love having a big city to drive around with my steering wheel, and killing people adds to the realism unfortunately.
