    Default Xbox Wireless Adapter

I thought this would be better here than consol gaming, since its technology.

I bought a Pre-Owned Xbox wireless adapter from GAME, doesnt seem to be working tho.
When i plug it in there is a steady red light on the adapter, but when i go to search for a network it doesnt find any.
My xbox is right next to my router and still doesnt find it, All the laptops work with the router so i dont think its a problem with that.
    The Router is neatgear,, aswell.

Does anyone know how i can fix this?

    Thanks

I'm not sure of the cause, but just so you know, the light will turn green when it is working. Try disconnecting the adapter and reconnecting it, this worked for me when it stopped working for a minute the other day.

I doubt GAME tested the wireless adapter, so it might be the case that its faulty. Does it pick up any of the other three wireless networks that your laptop picks up?

Tried all 3 USB ports, tried unplugging it ect..
And it doesn't pick up any networks at all.

Probably going to take it back and get a refund, they should at least test things before selling them.
