Default Help needed - SOME SITES NOT LOADING

Most are fine, Facebook and Cliosport, eBay etc. but others such as Paypal or some image hosting sites (I can't view some pics in threads on here) won't load. They just say 'connected' and then don't actually load.

I've tried clearing my cache and stuff, to no avail.

I had an issue just like this..

I could see sites like Habbox, and my company's site etc, but eBay, Facebook, MSN and major sites like this wouldn't load images properly.

I spent ages lookin on the web for help, and eventually it was a case of:

    - Turn router off (but unplug it, dont restart)
    - Turn computer/laptop off
    - Wait a few mins, plug in router
    - Start pc up

That worked for me! God knows what it was..

    Hope it works for you.

    See http://208.69.38.150 ?

Edit: @above, that probably just let the router completely clear it's cache. You should when restarting a router wait at least 30 seconds (If not a minute) before turning it back on.

Edit2: Oh look, Jesus is back!

Look busy, Ex-SuperMod Jesus is back.

    Just adding another idea.

What firewall have you got installed? If it's ZoneAlarm, then that's your problem. I'm not sure why, but ZoneAlarm seems to start choking internet traffic. If you have a router with a built in firewall, then uninstall ZoneAlarm, turn on the firewall on the router AND use Windows Firewall Both of which will keep you safe(r). If this doesn't work, then that's surprising

i've got AVG antivirus which probably has a firewall, might mess with that and see if anything happens

Ah that may do something. If there are any settings like the Google one, it might be worth tweaking them. If not, could be a computer related issue, though how is another man's guess :/

Do you use a firewall at all, other than the Windows one?
