I got my first Mac around a week ago, went and bought a 24" iMac and was absolutely amazed with it. So I wanted to find out more about it on the internet and went onto the PC World site to check out the specs. AND I SAW IT! For like £300 more a brand new 27", more powerful, better graphics and obviously a bigger screen! Next day I went back and explained my "confusion" between the 2 and they were quite happy to swap once they get it in that store. Today I checked the PC World site and it was available for store reserve in my location so off I went and got it!
The screen is noticeably clearer and it can handle quite a few more things at once with it being more powerful. It ain't the quad core but I had youtube videos, downloads, large games, system updates and installations all going at once on the 24" and I was using about 3/4 of its power so a more powerful version of a more powerful version really isn't necessary for me.
Before I had used the mouse and only watched videos of it I had planned to get rid of it with it looking so temperamental. But it is actually pretty awesome. It glides around effortlessly on my desk and the touch/clicking feels so high quality and is very sleek. You can tell it is built well by the weight of it, although you wouldn't think it weighed so much when it's gliding around like a feather.
The mouse gets 9/10 from me. Would be 10/10 if it wasn't for the lack of shortcut buttons.
Please no Mac vs Windows comments, I posted this in the Apple section for a reason.![]()
