Default Shocking is a word that cannot describe today.

Flame me, i have a point which many would agree.

The referee was an absolute disgrace. To put him in charge of the City, Sunderland, liverpool AND this one which he made mistakes in all of them is a joke.

The officiating today in general was poor. Sunday league officiators would put them all to shame.

Rooney - Clear onside, goal scoring opportunity,
Valencia - bought down in the box - Penalty
The free kick that led to the goal - ***?

The ref was in general far too picky all game stopping the game when he should have let it flow. There was at least 2 occasions when players were down with head injury's during Chelsea attacks when he didn't stop the game. When a head injury occurred when we was attacking however, he stopped the game straight away. His inconsistency in general was beyond poor.

He made far too many decisions that were frankly unfathomable involving fouls and yellow cards (the Carvalho Evans incident for instance.)

In the game against City there were 4 minutes added on. Because of a goal and substitutions however more time was added on. Totaling around 7 minutes. United fans have spent weeks trying to justify this to others. Then you get a ref like today who adds 5 minutes and blows the final whistle after exactly 5 minutes despite the fact that a substitution and several long stoppages took place. The shear inconsistency of referees is beyond poor in the Premier league at the moment and today's ref was a prime example.

The FA needs to crack down on terrible referee's like this, what pisses me off the most is that they put him in charge of 4 GAMES which he made awful decisions go against us.

I'm not excusing the chances we had, but we had key decisions go against us which NO top flight referee should be making.

I'm happy with our performance, best of the season so far, so if we keep playing like how we did today, we can go all the way.

Correct me if i'm wrong then but if he was in charge of your game with City he did you a massive favour in giving you extra minutes in which you won the game? Forgetful much. Typical MU fan blaming the ref for your own shortcomings tbh. He did make bad decisions I agree but as many people have said to me on here, you had plenty of other opportunities in which you could've scored but you didn't. How any fans of any team can moan about referees when a referee allowed a beachball goal this season is beyond me. There is no worse refereeing than that.

Go and get your facts right before you post utter crap.

That's one thing i hate... bull****

You obviously have no clue or hardly any understanding of the game. The extra time added on was due to changes made in stoppage time, (extra 30 seconds) so he had no choice, but to award the extra minutes. Also, you go on as if he added the minutes intentionally, trying to get United to steal a win, it could of gone either way...

So i don't why you mentioned "the typical united fan always blaming the referee" jargon. (READ THE ABOVE POST IF YOU DON'T GET WHAT I MEAN)

How do i? Last season when we lost to Liverpool, and co did i blame the referee? NO I DID NOT.. if i did... PROVE IT!

It happens to be the case in the last few games, after the fergie - wiley incident (excluding the blackburn game) that referee's have given poor descisons against us.

Well fair play to Chelsea, they took their chance to score. We worked the ball well, just couldn't find the target.

The referee blew on 95m 04 seconds which I liked, he could have added another 30 seconds due to time wasting but he blew when the allocated time was up.

I agree, Terry gave away a penalty, the referee disagreed.
Rooney was ABSOLUTELY onside, but making a decision like that should be hard for a linesman and Ashley Cole did his best to play Rooney offside.
The freekick that led to the goal? Fletcher got the man then the ball. Like Andy Gray said, it's 50/50. I agree with the referee on this decision.

It's just one of those days for United. They have to move on. Stay strong and win as many games as possible.

    - Minute or so should of been added on due to more time wasting and a substitution, in stoppage time.

    - Linesman should of got it right, that's a terrible decision.

    - Fletcher got the ball, seen it over 5 times..

    - Clear penalty, linesman or the referee should of picked it up. (Due to the fact that no one did, it's poor officiating)

Having said that, we had one or two chances, that we could of done better on.. but that's NOT the point, when the referee makes mistakes like everyone who watched the game saw, it spoils the whole game.

I know Chelsea fans that even said that the referee was poor, the Rooney, Valencia and fletcher incident.. many said they got lucky because of what happened on them three occasions. When Chelsea fans, who we just played, says stuff like this... this is telling you something.

I do like you clowgon but please stop blaming the ref whenever united loose, it's getting really annoying.

United played ok and it could of gone either way, but it didn't. United lacked the finish product and Chelsea's defence was too strong. If Berba played maybe he could have finished it but he didn't so you lost. At home you should win.

I was actually routing for United/a Draw but oh well.
