Just a quick one, your router is telling you the provided downstream rate that the ISP is sending you, not your speed, and there is no need to block out IP as no one can do anything with it, and DNS servers are public anyway

Now go ring Carphone Warehouse or whoever supplies your BB

My internet on my 360 and my laptop were both rubbish the other week. I ended up moving the 360's wireless adapter to the front USB port and there hasn't been a problem since. I know this makes zero per cent sense but it's exactly how it happened after a good 4 or 5 days of rubbish internet. The only other possibility for me was the weather, as it was raining a lot over those few days.

I think you should get off AOL or whatever other company CPW bought out

    http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange/NEDU
According to that you have a lot of options for BB providers. I'd recommend www.bethere.co.uk

I know this isn't really help but AOL/CPW/Tiscali will probably always have problems, so just move to another providers LLU.
Never argue with an idiot, he'll drag you down to his level, and beat you with experience.

Get Virgin 50Mb broadband like me. Always get at least 40Mb, usually reach the 50. Awesome speeds...
Seriously though, probably just some problems on their end, is it back to normal now? Also, I find speedtest.net can vary it's results depending on what server you use to test. Try

I agree with this guy about VM... I'm on 10MB and get 9.9, so it's pretty much spot on.
