Just finished watching it a little while ago and damn, what a good movie. It's an English film set during the 1960s which depicts the mod lifestyle while following one (mod) character in particular, whos life just seems to go to hell after the seaside riot between the mods and the rockers in Brighton. It's based on true events and the album of the same name by The Who, and the ending is very iconic. It might be something your parents were part of back in the day as well, which is why I found it partcularly interesting. Although I find all English films set during the 60s/70s very fascinating. Also, Total Film named it the 35th greatest British film of all time - so go see it!

FANTASTIC film. All because it's set in Brighton.

It's one of my favourite three films (next to Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels & Snatch!); I love it

It makes me wish I could live my life through the 60's to be a mod, then skip the 70, 80's and 90's and back into the modern day aha. I love the opening part, the scene at the house party when they dance to My Generation, the mod vs rockers clash in Brighton and the ending

Was the ending one of the greatest of all time? Or am I thinking of Snatch? Or am I simply losing my mind?

I definitey no recall Snatch or any part of it ever being in any "greatest films" lists.

My bad. I was watching it one day and my mate mentioned something about one of the scenes being one of the greatest film scenes, or something along those lines.

    Cheers
