    Anyone ever done any woodworking? I'm making this for my father for his birthday.

    Just a neat little computer desk, not finished yet.. still have the top, and the back (inside the computer storage area), and the molding.

    I did a little in secondary school, nothing as big as this though, it looks pretty neat

    I've only really done it when we made Memphis furniture at A-Level but that's a bigger project and looks like it's coming on really well .

    Yeah, it's a solid oak faceframe cabinet, using CC cabinet grade oak plywood. You can see some of the pocketholes on the top.

    I'm trying out a new method of joinery called pocket hole joinery. Pretty neat

    Yeah, here's the original design, just inverted..

    Feels nice to design your own furniture.. then make it.
