seeing as this is current affairs i thought this would be a place to post news (even if local)

A girl in my year at school and some of my classes got run over my a car in 2007 she was a young carer and like nicest person anyone could meet...

now some sickos have done this to her family:

Do you know whether they intended to steal the camera because they knew it was important, or was it just something they managed to grab along with the TV and other valuables?

it was a day time robbery and they had everything planned, towels and stuff put onto the floor to steal it. So its sounds like they targetted them directly with some sort of purpose.

Her family has asked for it back but with minds as sick as that i can't see it happening, i would have never expected something like this from my area.

I'm going to sound a bit harsh here, and I do believe that it is an abhorrently hideous act, but with data as important to them as that they really should have backed it up or made copies.

thing is, for what they've done i think the maximum justice they'll get served is 6 years... which i find no where near enough for people as sick minded as this.

and stutoman could you be a bit more respectful and pm it next time

Look, as bad a burgalry is, it happens all the time, i highly doubt they specifically targeted the family just take get photos like you're all making out.

families lose memories in all burgalries, it happens. Still doesnt excuse the fact its bad though.
