Windows to OSX, my experiences.

Ok, so my whole life I've had PC's. Not neccesarily because I'm anti-OSX but more because Windows is more frequently used. Around a month ago I purchased a MacBook for iPhone development and all I can say is "What the hell is the fuss about!?".

You CONSTANTLY get Mac users coming on here ranting about how great they are. But I can safely say I can't see what they are on about, I'm not saying Windows is better but they are SO similar its unbelievable. I honestly can't see a difference. The most common argument I see is that Macs crash less, no they don't. On my MacBook I've seen more crashes on OSX than on Windows 7 but OSX just makes less of a fuss about them than Windows. I really like iLife, the Pre-installed applications and the look of the MacBook but is it worth spending £300 extra on? Probably not.

Basically I'd say if you're gonna spend £800 on a Laptop anyway then buy a Macbook but if you want to spend any less then don't bother paying the extra.

So you came in this forum to insult us for what reason? You're doing exactly what you accuse us of doing. OSX users AND WINDOWS users both argue back and forth about which OS is the best.
