I totally agree. But I think the OP should be a tutorial for how to unlock & jailbreak iPhones, and then update the OP as new firmwares come out, so it's a regularly updated tutorial & discussion thread all in one, I'd be happy to help out.

A lot of people keep asking about the jailbreak & unlock, and a dedicated thread for it would be great.
