    Default Sleeping Pattern.

This is probably due to my sleeping pattern but everyday I come home from school and immediately collapse on my bed within 1 hour. I can't control it, I'll say to myself in school and on the bus that I can stay up until 9pm then sleep. I can't do it though, so I fall asleep at 4pm and wake at around 10pm. Then, I try to sleep at around 1am and I've spent tonight tossing and turning for 2 hours and I finally decided just to get up and watch tv. I'm going to buy some Red Bull just before school, I know it's bad for you but energy drinks are probably the only way I'll fix my routine. Does anyone have any other advice?

No matter how hard it is, force yourself to stay up then head to bed early the following day so you get a good night sleep and fix your routine. If you feel the urge you're falling asleep go have coffee or drink an energy drink and wash your face with cold water or have a shower, it'll help a lot.
That's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it cause we consider these minutes golden.

Yeh i had to fix my routing the day after coming back from holiday, before i was ready for a full nights sleep at 1pm, due to the times i had been sleeping with the time difference and the long flight etc.

So i had to keep active like walk around, walk around the block and stuff just so i didnt fall asleep, around 5pm i was shattered and couldnt keep my eyes open but i fought through it and went bed at 8pm, then the next night 9pm and so on. it gets alot easier after the first night and your body clock kind of resets itself.

Last year I hardly slept at all and when I did it was during the day. So at one stage I forced myself to stay awake for almost 3 days and then went to bed at a normal time and I think that helped.
