I applied thermal paste correctly, spread it out evenly etc and think its tightened enough?

LOAD TEMPS PLZ.
http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=211 change it to 4 cores/threads and make sure you do millions of digits like 32. Watch temps while running it.
Yeah, load temps! But don't use Super PI. Use a real stress program. OCCT, Prime95, LinX, Intel Burn Test

Also, what processor and you using and what is it overclocked to?

Its stock atm..
running prime95 atm
Prime 95 ~ max temp was about 50, didn't change much (only done 15 tests)
Linx ~ max temp 62 degrees @ 256MB Memory 20 times
Temps are perfectly fine at stock for an i7. Anything up to about 85c load is considered acceptable on an i7.

IntelBurnTest standard stress test is hitting about 79 degrees at 4Ghz.
