Sshhhhh... don't tell Roxy916 (events manager) but we're the better team.

To answer your question, competitions tend to be based around HabboxForum whereas events are based on Habbo (this is fairly 'loose' as competitions could also use Habbo in extreme circumstances but in general, that's the biggest difference). They are quite similar in that they provide the community to win free prizes but there are underlying differences.

Another way to prove that the competitions department is better there are differences is also the competitions department take their prizes from donations while the events department have to use their own furni. This may help you decide which one you would like to do, depending on your furni size. I have no idea why this is and even though I joke it's because we're better (we are better but the events department isn't so bad really), it does seem a tad unfair but hey, that's just the way it goes!

    Thank you for your question.

Events staff have to do atleast 3 events per month I believe? And that could just be a few games of Falling Furni or Costume Change.
Events will usually run for about an hour while competitions run for a few weeks.

I'm just wondering if you roughly know when the job for Competitions Staff will open next? If not, don't worry as i can just wait.

We've only just recently hired the last bunch of trialists. It'll hopefully be a while before they are opened again.

Events applications are open though (and they do more than 3 events a month btw. HAPPY MOLLY.22?!!).

    That's a lie!

They're both good departments though xoxox
You may as well give the events department a try though, since applications are open
