Tomorrow as part of my combined Business Studies degree, more specifically Finance, I've got an exam on Microsoft Excell. I will need to be able to create all sorts of formulae to create a balance sheet but so all the calculations are automated.

I should have had four or five workshop sessions to learn about it but my timetable had a mistake on it which meant I only attended one and half of these sessions and a lecture, but the lecture was about as helpful as a chocolate teapot.

I guess it's only worth 20% of the module, so yay this should be fun!

Surely you only need to know what the functions are. So say u wanted cells A1 and A2 added together you pick the cell it's in and do =A1+A2

so you use + - * and /

I learnt that much in year 7. There's a lot more involved like 'IF' functions and v-lookup or something and protecting cells etc.

it wasn't too bad, the whole exam was a joke really though. the tutor spent 20 minutes finding the user name for us to login, then half the computers wouldn't work, then the class of about 30 had to load a file from a single memory stick which was passed round, then we basically got as long as we wanted instead of just an hour lmao.
