The release date for the UK is also the 8th of January according to Cineworld. Sam Neill and Willem Dafoe in the same film - hell yes! I'm looking forward to this.

The UK release date has been confirmed as the 6th of January. We're finally getting a film before everyone else.

Willem Dafoe being in it makes me interested. Otherwise it just looks like another Resident Evil/Blade type thing?

It's a lot more original than Blade and Resident Evil. Nearly the entire population are vampires for a start, while in Blade and Resident Evil they live in secret. Daybreakers has gotten very positive reviews thus far.

Well as long as it's not just horror-orientated I might be interested in it.

After seeing the trailer, I didn't like the look of it, though I like the sound of it still.

We got The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus before anyone else. I think USA haven't had it released in cinemas, just as a "limited" seating thing.

On topic: I feel like I've seen the exact same thing somewhere else. It has an Underworld-esqe feel to it. I'd probably give it a watch though, I'll be hoping it's a full on action film.
