Is it just me¸ or is it happening to someone else too?

You should upload the picture to an upload site (e.g. http://tinypic.com/) and then copy the picture link and click the image to let it be shown.
OR, just paste the image link into your message and put IMG and /IMG tags around it. And put the IMG and /IMG into these brackets: [ ]
