    Default Laptop..

K well im thinking of buying my dad mainly but it will be used by a few people in my family. looking to spend about £300-£350 and so have found this one: http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/stor...rmationSection the only thing im worried about is the processor speed and so wondering if its a good laptop, wont be used for much more other than web browsing and the occasional letter.

    any other suggestions too please

EDIT: oh how bout this one too http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/sto...&category_oid=

its mainly for my dad, but other will use it so its kinda a family present, but y'know. plus, he has socks and 1 otehr thing on his list, shared between 4 people. soooo annoying, so hes gonna get something he doesnt want (plus his laptops breaking and sooooooooo slow and when he needs help i get frustrated by it )

is it worth going for the next model up? http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/stor...fm=2&sm=1&tm=3
