hard drive help

Ok so I need some help my windows is not booting and I thought It was the hd originally but I popped in the windows disk and it wont let me install because drivers are missing so now Im in the system recovery options can anyone help me I can get into the CMD but thats all

partition your drive so you have 2 partitions, 1 blank and one with the broken windows on it. install windows onto the blank one, rescue the data you want, delete old partition.

That's the easiest solution, if its vista or 7 you might be able to hit repair and it'll fix it too.

Yeh I click repair but I get startup repair cannot repair this computer automatically and I try the restore but I get no valid backup location I can only use CMD in the help menus
