    Default Reccomend computer speakers?

Want some decent ones with a big bass, preferably surround. Price isn't a worry that much but a variety would be nice, looked around myself but I'm a tech-nunce. Thanks in advance.

Can't edit for some reason but I saw these earlier and forgot to put them in the OP, anyone know if these are alright? All they really had on PC World.

    I'm thinking first one.

Edit for the above: Appreciate the help but that's honestly not always the case.

Do you need 5.1 or 2.1 (or whatever two speakers and a sub are)? In other words, are you hoping to have surround sound in your room, or just casual speakers for some light gaming and maybe videos?

Surround sound, it's not for gaming it's more for music. I've looked around and found those two however I know many people don't like PC World or something.

There's a logitech set which loads of people on here use. I *think* it's these:

Logitech Z-5500 Speakers 5.1 Surround Sound 505W RMS

But they are stupidly expensive Really depends on budget. The Logitech ones you've posted will do the job.

If it's just music and general use get 2.1. 5.1 are generally only useful for films and maybe gaming.

For top notch 5.1 get the Z-5500
For reasonable 5.1 get the X-540

For top notch 2.1 get the Z-2300s
For good 2.1 get the Z-4
For ok 2.1 get the X-230

If you want 5.1, you do have a capable soundcard, right?

I got 3 logitech ones. Heres the order id rate them.

    logitech z4 speakers 2.1 - 1st

Great sound quality, look very good. Subwoofer is better than my 530 one.
I love the controller switch included with the blue light.

    Logitech X 530 5.1- 2nd

Great sound, subwoofer is standard not as good as the z4. Volume is really high due to the 5 speakers. Currently using them in my room behind my bed and to the front, and are amazing for the perfect cinema feel.

    Logitech - x240 2.1 - 3rd

Got these very cheap, used for my standard pc. Sound quality aint very good, its alright at low volumes but as you increase volume sound is distorted. I wouldnt really go for these.

    Hope it helped
