Does gingerbread, meatballs or milk contain monosaccharides?
Does gingerbread contain protein? I heard it has egg inside, not sure though. Milk has protein right?
Thanks!

Well, to summarize, monosaccharides are carbs in the simplest forms. A few of the more common ones include glucose, fructose, galactose, xylose, and ribose.
Milk contains lactose, which is a polysaccharide that is made from glucose and fructose combining. It also contains galactose, so technically, I think it does contain monosaccharides? At the very least, it has polysaccharides that are composed of monosaccharides, but i don't know if you would count that.
As for gingerbread, its a bakery product that traditionally is made with a high proportion of sugar, honey, dextrose, or glucose syrup, so yes, it has monosaccharides. And in regards to gingerbread containing protein - some recipes include egg, some do not. If it includes egg, it obviously does contain protein, I'm not sure about if it does not contain egg. Milk on the other hand most definitely has plenty of protein in it, along with a ton of other nutrients.
I'm not entirely sure in regards to what meatballs contain, but I would guess they probably contain monosaccharides as well (most things do, really).
Hope my answer somewhat helped/clarified a bit.. And here's the random various sources that I used, you can browse through them if you like:
