Hanging Out in Rooms Badges?

For the badges awarded to hanging out in x rooms (like vacationeer or whatever) how long do you have to stay in the room for it to be classed as hanging out? Because I'm sure I've been in more than the badge suggests!

Doesn't matter the duration of how long your in a room, you basically just have to visit as many rooms till it gives you the badge.

The couter resets when you get a new badge, so say you just achieved 100 rooms. The counter resets to 0 and you now need to visit 120.
