    Do you think age matters?

For instance, if you liked someone & they liked you or the other way around. And there was a fairly big age difference. Lets say 3-6 yrs at the most, would you let that affect how you feel and not be with them or think to yourself that age doesn't matter & be with that person? All opinions respected

tough one really. it sounds wrong. it looks wrong but it's entirely up to you.

one of my good friends (16) was seeing a 22 year old guy and that's a 6 year age difference there.

I think it's wrong as a teen seeing someone with up to a 3 year age difference than you.

I think it's only if the younger one is in their teens (or, obviously, below) because they tend to get emotionally manipulated easily. It's probably because teens are on a high from hormones and aren't usually experienced or sexually mature.

Erm I think like people have said that if it's someone that is 18 and someone who is 14 date it is quite wrong. Basically the younger you are the worse it seems because you are likely to be at different levels of maturity and development. Also what seems to matter is whether its the girl or the boy who's older. Usually if the girl is older than the boy it seems wrong somehow. This is just usually because it's not a common thing to see an older girl with a younger boyfriend. Once you get older a 3 year gap isn't so big at all because you're both supposedly at the same level of maturity (although with some people this is debatable).

It isn't a problem to me but if your under about 11-12ish and dating someone 6 years older then it is wrong. If they both trust each other and get along then i don't see why not.

    I'm 17. Personally I'm not sure if I'd come out alive meeting a 11 year old's parents and telling them we're together. p a e d o
