    +Rep to anyone who can help me, if I google a songs tabs, the tabs show up but how do I read tabs?

    It's not as hard as it looks actually, you'll laugh at how easy it is once you learn it.

    top line is high E string, bottom line is low E string, number is fret (0 is open string)
    \ or / = slide
    ^ or b = bend
    h = hammer on
    p = pull off
    ~ = vibrato
    * = pinch harmonic

    www.ultimate-guitar.com is very good for tabs, i only use tabs to play songs on my bass.
    They're really easy to use and simple to learn songs once you get the hang of it. The number on the line is simply the fret you need to play and depending on what line it is on, that's what string you play it on.
