Did you go shopping on 26th December?
I rarely do, but I did today. Took ages to find parking, but most things were pretty much the same price.

Yea, took a trip up to my local shopping center. Was VERY busy. Needed to get a few last minute christmas presents for my dad's family who I don't see till tommorow. As you said, I didn't notice too many noticable price cuts.
Although I think the VAT rate is going up soon, so that could make a difference I suppose.

When going clothes shopping or shopping in places such as supermarkets, I don't think the VAT change affects the price much.Yea, took a trip up to my local shopping center. Was VERY busy. Jeans which were £10 in a shop last year when the VAT was 17.5% is still £10 now with 15% VAT.
Most shops just keep the same price, but it just means they make more profit when the VAT is lower.
M&S is the only place where I've noticed any actual changes and that's only because they advertise it. Like you say most shops ignored the VAT changes and just used to to get more money for themselves. Makes sense I suppose because that's what keeps the economy up rather than people not paying much for anything
In answer to the question, nahhhhh. Shopping can wait I don't need anything especially (other than a haircut) and it seems like effort
The Only thing I noticed with the VAT thing last time, was that Primark altered all it's prices at the tills to less. Like if something was marked at £4.00 they would charge 3.89 or some other strange amount! They will most likely put these back up to the full £4.00 now?
There seemed to be a lot of people buying christmas related stuff today, probably for next year!![]()

I guess if you find something cheap now, you might as well get it now and hide it till next year.
I was working Boxing Day. The shopping centre seemed busy but my work wasn't. In my last 3 hours of my shift I served about 3 customers![]()
Yeah i was meant to wake up at 7am to go shopping with my best friend.

Bought loads of clothes from River Island and New Look.![]()
I went to the Winter Wonderland Fair in Hyde Park, central London. Its massive and its run completely by germans, awsome sausages!
