What are your pet peeves in terms of bad spelling or grammar? Which common words do you have trouble spelling or remembering which one is right? (witch won is rite)

I agree with all of them on that. My main source of problem is mainly that I mis-spell 'me' as 'my' because my fingers don't listen to my brain.

I cannot spell the word 'apparently' no matter how much I try (I just used a spell checker ).

And frankly I'm still confused between affect/effect.

I have some sort of internal method for telling when to use affect or effect, but I'm not sure how to describe it!

My biggest pet peeve, which makes me strike down people into oblivion, is mixing 'your' and 'you're'... it really gets me.
