Security Camera

Hey,
Some of you are probs thinking "Why would I need a security camera, dumb ass" well, although its a security camera I think its pretty cool, its wireless and you can get the reception from anywhere. So for instance you could have it in a friends house and look at the stream through your computer. If I had 300 bucks I'd buy it ha what do you think of it?

It may be one of the ones that transmit the picture over the internet. In that case it will need an internet connection 24/7.

Yeah it is, I'd rather that than have a range. What I think is amazing about it is you can bring it everywhere with you lol. I'm not too sure if you can save the live stream but if you can that would be amazing.

It would need to be plugged into an ethernet cable. So if you want it outside of your garage you would need an ethernet cable there too. That's no good?

Couldn't you just stream from a webcam? wouldn't it be much cheaper

You could use a webcam and with the right software that includes a "monitor" function should be fine. Why spend all the dosh?

I'm not sure how it works but I'm nearly sure you don't need the internet for it. I have watched reviews on youtube and they didn't need the internet.
