Default Thinking of dying my hair

Ive been recently thinking of dying my hair black. It currently blond/light brown and I was wondering if it wud work. I remember some1 saying something in the past that blond hair doesnt dye black well.

So basically, will it look right or will it just go a weird colour?

It depends what shade your hair is, if its more blonde then it might go abit funny but i surpose it depends what dye you use. My friend from school had a dirty blonde color and dyed it black and it went perfect.

well it's much easier to get your hair darker than lighter
    and much more healthier
shouldn't be so bad if it's your natural colour..... i'd just use a temporary one to begin with. one that lasts a few washes. if you like it get it permanent.
tbh no point going to a hairdresser for it, you'll just get the same results for less using a box, unless it's just highlights you want.

also no point dying your hair black if you've got light eyelashes/skin/eyebrows it'll look stupid and wash you out. i'd ask a hair stylist advice on what colour to go for if you want to go darker and just do it yourself

Black died hair usually looks really fake and unhealthy.. I'd go for a very dark brown instead

If your hair's brown with blonde highlights then i'd keep it because it normally looks really nice (can't see the picture)
