If you don't need a built-in mic and controls on the cord, Skullcandy Ink'd buds are simply amazing sound quality, and only £18. http://uk.skullcandy.com/shop/config...id/1061/cid/6/
I got mine from HMV, and they're a good 10 times better than the iPod headphones.
They do more ranges, so have a look on the site.
