    Talking R.E Homework....

    Right.
I watched a film with our teacher you may have watched it ;p
The Simpsons "Bart sells his soul"

She said that in the next lesson we had to write about it ok, but there was a sub in the class and he stuck any episode of the simpsons on, so i have to explain what Lisa and Bart think about their souls.
Good thing i have the film LOL.

My Question : Say IF we had a soul, why do they make it sound like it's a small little ghost of our past, and present life?

    Stupid question ino but..

Because ghosts and our soul lives for eternity so our soul = our ghost. Also white = pure which the mist is usually shown as.

Do you mean why are souls portrayed like that within the episode? I guess the "ghost" form depicting the soul could be just a visual representation of our conscience. The episode involves Bart feeling guilty about it doesn't he? It could also relate to the belief in ghosts in general. After all, a ghost is just somebody's soul. Of course, this all assumes you believe in the afterlife.

Our soul is supposed to represent us, I think of it as a personality, it makes us, us, but depending on your belief then people will believe different things
