Basically it's another 'Vampire' series, but I've read the first book and it's pretty good, incomparable to twilight because they just both seem like completely different genres.
It has a bit more swearing and real life stuff that goes on between teenagers in it, and there's gonna be 15 books apparently :L
My friend's are giving me 2,3 and 4 tomorrow,

Anyone else read them? So far there are 6 books out

I haven't read them yet but my friend has and she said that they're pretty good.

She described them as a mix of Harry Potter and Twilight and I pretty much love both of those so I'll probably read them soon .

Yeah, it's a bit like harry potter and twilight, cause there's like magic stuff involved too, when my friends first told me about it I thought it was gonna be another twilight copycat, and they kept trying to tell me I shouldn't compare, so now I'm a lil bit hooked

I own six of them I lovee them, I just bought one of them in an airport last year because I was bored and I spent most of my holiday money on the rest of the books that were out haha.
Keep your mind open, now my love, or else my heart just might close

Is it actually well written? Because the author of the Twilight books, to quote Stephen King, can't write worth a damn.

I'd doubt it but since I haven't read any House of Night books or any other work by the author I can't comment really. Just an educated guess based on the genre and description given by other people on here.
